Common questions
Is there a minimum term?
The minimum is one month, then stay as long as you like. To leave, just give one month’s notice, empty the unit and remove your padlock.
What do I pay besides the rent?
A deposit and a one-off padlock when you first move in — that’s it. No admin fees, no set-up charges, nothing hidden.
How do I pay?
Your first payment is made in cash on-site when you move in. After that it’s by standing order, and you can pay monthly, half-yearly or yearly — whichever suits you.
Do I need ID?
Yes — please bring photographic ID to set up your lease.
Is there anything I can’t store?
For everyone’s safety, no firearms, weapons, explosives, drugs or anything illegal. If you’re not sure about something, just ask.
What if I lose my key?
You’re given three copies, so it’s rarely a problem. If all are lost, our team can cut the lock once you’ve confirmed your identity — you’ll then buy a replacement padlock.
